Ok, so I guess its my turn to give my input on the DAT now..i wont make this too long but if you have any questions, feel free to post them and i'll respond as best as i can..lets start with my scores (Aug 31)
PAT 20
QR 20
RC 18
Bio 21
GC 23
OC 23
TS 22
AA 21
For the PAT section, I would recommend using CD PAT..go through all the tests and practice with the angles, cube counting, and paper folding
For the QR section, i used math destroyer and found that it did a pretty comprehensive overview. the biggest stresser i think is time so make sure you skip any question that seems long
For RC..i really just did the reading sections on Achiever and hoped for the best (i was getting 14-17 in this section) and i'm very happy with this score. what i did was i read through the articles quickly once and just went at the questions. dont spend more than 5-7mins reading a passage though
Bio is pretty random but i'd use cliffnotes to go through everything (i was averaging 16 for achiever). it depends alot on the questions you get..sometimes they ask the one detail about some stupid detail while you the rest of the chapter inside out..cliffs gives a nice and brief (relatively) overview
For general chemistry and organic, i used dat destroyer and chad's videos. Go through chad's videos first to get a good refresher and then work through dat destroyer (at least thats how i did mine)
I wanted to know what everyone else's input on the schools i should be applying to is. Basically, I'm a canadian applicant, i'm gonna submit my application tomorrow, i only have 30 hours shadowing experience, my gpa is 3.48, and my letters of recommendation are all coming middle of sept..i would really appreciate anyone's advice. Thank you
