DAT Breakdown
I would like to start off by thanking Ari, Nancy, Dr. Romano, and all the SDN'ers who wished me good luck and helped me throughout this process.
Biology (26)
1) Feralis’ Note (10/10)
2) DAT Destroyer
3) DATQVAULT
4) Cliff’s notes 3rd
The Biology section was the quickest for me because I wanted to spend less time on it and double check ochem and gchem.
Feralis’ notes (10/10) : EVERYONE GO THANK FERALIS FOR MAKING COMPREHENSIVE NOTES. It is not easy to share one’s own notes, but he is generous enough to share it with everyone.
This was the one and only thing that has helped me throughout the Biology section.
I listed DAT Destroyer as second because it would help you comprehend Feralis’ notes better.
I mostly used DATQvault to test my knowledge as well as to get vocabulary on stuffs that Feralis and Dr. Romano do not teach us.
Cliff’s notes 3rd: WAY TOO LONG! I went over this book only once back in like February… and never read it again because it is so boring. If you can handle the sheer amount of info on Feralis Notes, I would skip it.
Gen Chem (27)
1) DAT Destroyer (10/10)
2) Chad’s Video
3) DATQVAULT
DAT Destroyer ALL THE WAY. I seriously thought I would not have been able to answer many many questions if I did not study the destroyer. People say Gchem is straight forward and easy. I did not think so. You need Destroyer to score high.
Chad’s Video is listed second because I felt like DAT Destroyer was more helpful. But I am not going to lie, Chad taught me lots of stuffs. Chad and Dr. Romano are Godsend to us for this section.
OChem (30)
1) DAT Destroyer (10/10)
2) Chad’s Video
DAT Destroyer is listed as first because (AGAIN) without the destroyer, I would not have been able to answer some questions. I was weak on Lab stuffs, so I marked every single lab questions on the DAT destroyer and studied it. I am not so sure if the Roadmap helped me, but it is no doubt good practice when you wake up in the morning 🙂
PAT (20)
1) DAT Bootcamp
2) Crack DAT PAT
When I first started PAT back in January, I only used Crack DAT PAT.
Like many of you, I was lost and thought I would never do well in this section.
But I ended up not doing any PAT for 2 months because I wanted to focus on science
For the real DAT, I was very tired at this point (lol I know) and probably did horribly for the TFE (I do these at last)
But I listed DAT BOOTCAMP as number one because that was closer to the real DAT than CDP (ESPECIALLY KEYHOLE!)
Reading Comprehension (22)
1) Crack DAT PAT
2) KAPLAN
3) DATQVAULT
Like many of you, English is my second language. I remember giving up on BC’s full length because I just could not do RC. And this was 2 weeks before my test.
Before starting Bootcamp, I used Kaplan’s FL and CRACK DAT RC as my practice tool.
I was reading scientific American article 1 hour/day for like 1 month, but stopped it because I did not think it was helpful for ME.
Quantitative Reasoning (20)
1) Math Destroyer
Math Destroyer was the single study tool I used for this section. I knew that by the time I am doing QR, I would be tired and make mistakes; so all I did was do Math Destroyer during Full Length (Skipped BC QR/Kaplan QR and substituted it)

TEST DAY
I highly recommend you do the prometric test drive. I knew where the building was, but ended up going to the wrong one on the test drive day lol. After I found the building, I asked the receptionist what floor the prometric test is held at, and she gave me wrong info that I had to look around.
Also, I would make sure to ask if they would allow the ID that you would use. A day before my DAT, I had to waste 3 hours because they told me they would not accept certificate of naturalization as my 2nd ID.
Also, I would try to gain stamina if you are weak like me. The reason I did not do well on PAT and QR is because of my lack of stamina
I always knew I was this good, but never knew I would be this good.
