Reading these breakdowns throughout my study experience helped me tremendously. If I wouldn't have read them, I wouldn't have know about DAT Destroyer, which is my most recommended piece of study material.
AA 21
TS 22
Anyways, I worked extremely hard to get these scores, and that is what I think the DAT is all about. What are you willing to do to make your dream a reality? Everyone is different. Don't decide how many months, hours, or practice tests you are going to take prior to your official test, but evaluate yourself honestly throughout the process and make the appropriate changes. It is worth pushing your test back to make the scores you want. Sacrifice.
BIOLOGY (20)
Probably the hardest section to master, in my opinion, because of the vast amount of material that can be tested. Both of my biology courses in undergrad were jokes, and I didn't learn much at all.
I started by reading through the Kaplan blue book and highlighting throughout. Then I read the AP Bio Cliff's book and took notes diligently on every section. Putting these concepts into my own words was critical for me to make progress. Once I found DAT Destroyer, I started going through the questions little by little and reading the solutions, which are helpful even if you get the problem correct. The people from DAT Destroyer talk about how there are no short cuts to a good DAT score, and they are right.
I then bought DATQvault for biology only about 2.5 weeks out from my test. The first time I went through them, my average was a little above 18. I read every solution and went through them again the week before my official and scored 22-25 on all of them. I remembered a lot of the answers though, so this isn't the best indicator. Last but most definitely not least is DAT Bootcamp. Simply the best official simulator out there. Difficulty, wording, and material are very accurate to the official. Ari is so helpful.
Saturate yourself with the material and hope it sticks.
GEN CHEM (24)
I thought Gen Chem was going to be my weakest subject going into studying. The first thing I did was read the Kaplan blue book and took few notes on this section. Then I watched all of Chad's GC videos which were awesome. I subscribed to Coursesaver for multiple months, and it was worth it. His quizzes are great too and on par with the difficulty of the official.
Do DAT Destroyer and you won't see a more difficult problem on the official. Take your time with it, let it humble you, and learn from every solution.
DAT Bootcamp again was exceptional for this section.
ORGANIC (23)
I just finished Ochem II so I didn't study much for this. I went through DAT Destroyer and DAT Bootcamp once or twice each. Watched a few Chad's videos. This is an easy section to master.
PAT (26)
I did all of the Crack DAT PAT tests, which were very easy, and unlike the official.
I also went through the DAT Bootcamp tests, which were the same as far as difficulty goes in my opinion. I think this section is one where you either have it or you don't. Im no DAT genius though.
RC & QR (19 & 19)
I hate both of these sections. I did a few Bootcamp tests of each as well as 11 Math Destroyer tests. The QR is much easier on the official.
I didn't keep track of my Bootcamp scores, which is why they are not posted.
Good luck to you all! Work harder than you think you can.
Congratulations!

You put in the hard work and made a study schedule that suited your needs. Thank you for the detailed breakdown and words of wisdom.
"Work harder than you think you can", that is brilliant and truly what is needed to Destroy the DAT. Hard work always pays off.
You will receive multiple interviews with your scores. We are delighted you found the DAT Destroyer a helpful study tool.
Enjoy the rest of summer, you deserve it!
