Can you do scientific notation (e^) on the DAT? or is it basic add subtract multiply divide?

Yes, i saw that...and if you have a PC it is the same one as you have installed on your computer. If you open it, and go to view at the top of the calculator you can switch to scientific, my quest is can you do that on the actual test?

I e-mailed the ADA because I had the exact same question. They haven't gotten back to me.

I would assume yes? I don't think they would go through the extra work to remove that aspect of the software.
 
Hey thought I'd help answer this for you all. The calculator does not have an advanced view with scientific notation or anything else. It's not the exact same calculator as the one built into Windows computers... It has only the functions you see in the picture in the link posted above. Hope that helps!
