I disagree. If you really learn the material in the suggested texts / videos, you will do well. The prep material for the DAT is too good; we're pretty lucky to have had the chance to take it while the material is as good as it is.

If you put the time and effort into it a good score is definitely possible and probable. Know how you learn best and use it. For my DAT I read the recommended books and watched Chad's videos but then made notecards on everything since I knew I needed to write stuff down to learn it. I ended up with 500 notecards in a 2 week span.
I really really hope that it works out for me. i know alot more ppl who have taken the mcats and they feel that no matter how much they prepare its still not enough. Its like there is some kind of threshold or learning curve. Anyway i will try my best and take full use of the resources that have been recommended. I have the winter break to study bcuz i just cannot put in a whole semester. I get lazy sidetracked and forget. So i plan to focus on the dat for six weeks and hopefully it works out
