I am trying to get more practice for the general chemistry section. What are some good study materials for this section? I have bootcamp, destroyer and just recently tried out dat genius. I'm not a fan of the chemistry section on genius, as it has too many calculation problems and not enough conceptual (which is what I need more practice on). Would it help to take Chad's quizzes on coursaver? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

My advice for conceptual-type problems is a bit unconventional - get SAT II Chem and AP Chem test prep book (Princeton, Kaplan, Barrons, etc.) and work on the conceptual problem there, things like le Chatlier's principle, deviations of ideal gas law, random chem "trivia" that the DAT sometimes asks you.

If you went to a competitive undergrad, chances are that the gen chem lectures that you took at undergrad has little to do with what's on the DAT...

Chad's quizzes are awesome for the both orgo and general Chem. Do them and make sure you get all right. If not, watch the video for that section and then redo.
