Hi everyone, my scores are nothing great but I am planning on applying to a postbacc program with my scores. Any feed back and advice would be helpful. I have a 3.2 GPA overall and a 3.1 science.
Break Down:
PAT 17: First off, I am very mad about the PAT I did over 30 + crack DAT PAT tests scoring between 18 and 22. The PAT did not even seem that hard, I dont know what happened? This definitely hurt my test score.
QR: 15: I was worn out by this section. Making careless errors. I felt like every time I got my answer the answer never showed up in the choices. I used crack DAT math. It was alright, bad explainations. I should have gone through DESTROYER. Not too much trig either.
RC 16: OKAY, I am definitely going to do Exam Krackers MCAT for this. What can I say, I got intimidated because the passages seemed long and the font was smaller. The passages were not even that bad but I got freaked out because of the time issue. Its beast mode time.
BIO 19: I am content with this score. I know bio can be can ask so many different questions. They were weird, definitely did not adhere to the outlined guidlines for ADA. There were no ecology or evolution questions. No meiosis or mitosis questions. And one lousy Krebs cycle question. Weird section thats all I can say.
GC 19: I skipped this and went straight to OC. I knew I would need more time for this section. One acid base problem. Lots of conceptual stuff. No electron configuration questions.
OC 19: This section was not that easy. I felt there were not enough questions that tested the fundamentals. The questions were again obscure.
TS: 19 AA: 18
Study materials included, Kaplan, Destroyer, ACS books, Crack DAT math and PAT, Cliffs AP bio and chem, McMurry. I need to study math and reading more. I was too excited to take the test. One more thing, the timer on the exam seems fast. Its faster than a second, it seemed like I had 5 min less on each section. Maybe I was just tripping out lol. Any feed back is always welcome, I plan on retaking the exam but I am not sure if I should wait until I am done with my post bacc program. Realistically, I know I need to be pulling solid 20's across the board to get in to dental school, so I want to make sure that I am well prepared the next time I take the exam. I would also be more than happy to answer questions anyone has.
