I am almost done reviewing my first section: BIO. Many of the questions are rather difficult in the fact that they really make you think before you answer (imagine that 😀 ). I believe most are harder than one would see on the actual test.
There are a lot of "All of the following are true EXCEPT?" type problems. Solutions are very thorough and well explained and he even says things like "Be sure you know this" if the information is pertinent.
Most importantly, I feel that the way the questions are written is developing my skill of ruling out incorrect answers (you pretty much have to on most of them).
One thing that I do not like however is how some of the questions (or answers) are written ambiguously.
Example one question asks "Which is false?"
Choice A says "The ETC pumps protons out of the mitochondria, thus creating a proton gradient"
At first glance I thought it was this answer because protons are pumped out of the matrix into the innermembrane space, but not the mitochondria.
As you read on however, there is a better answer that is more "WRONG" than the statement above.
I must say, however, that I am pleased thus far.
Will post more when I can. 👍
