Hey everyone!
I'm a little confused about the answer for question #122 in the organic chem section for the 2015 version. The answer says 1,3- dimethylcyclohexane has 3 stereoisomers. However, I can only think of two since the cis stereoisomers would be meso. The answer shows that the cis-wedge stereoisomer is meso, but wouldn't the dash-stereoisomer also be meso since they are the same molecule? Thanks for the help!
