DAT Destroyer - 2nd Time Around

Hey all,

I just started my second sweep through destroyer (everything, not just missed questions), and I was wondering if you guys did anything special the second time around (ie: flipped order, random order, etc).

I'm doing extremely well the second time around, but I'm debating if it's because I really know the material or because I subconsciously remember the answers. I started my first sweep through more than a week ago, so I'm not sure even if I can remember the answers from that long ago, but idk.

So yeah, did you do anything special for the second time around Destroyer? I suppose I'll get a better answer of whether I know it or not once I take a few practice tests?

i'm doing the same exact thing and i'm doing much better, i've found that yea for a couple of the really weird and out there questions I've got right because I remember the answer but on most i'm just remembering why or why not each answer is right or wrong and i'm finding im not making the stupid little mistakes, also I'm getting the calculations right now, i'm doing them in spans of 30 and i'm getting like 27 right, I know destroyer isnt set up for test like that but o well hopefully i'll have same success on first practice test next week😱

I am starting with destroyer for the 2nd time as well. I will be going through answer choices as carefully as the first time around .. just incase i missed any detail. I am going to take my practice test after i am done with it again.

When are you scheduled to take the DAT?

I agree; I am reading questions more carefully and am not getting the silly mistakes that I was for the first time around.. But then again, on certain questions I can remember how I did the calculation, though I guess that's learning in action right? Lol, so confused.. I think I will definitely have to wait to see how I do on my first Topscore test, to find out whether or not I really know the material heh.

And Jia, I am scheduled to take it next week, 7/24, but depending on my practice test results I may postpone it to 7/29 the next week. The only problem for me is that we have a big family trip planned that week, so if I do postpone it will ruin my only summer vacation time heh. Just prayin' that I do well on that practice test 😛.

How hard is the destroyer Gchem and Ochem comparison to the real DAT?

I am doing the same thing. I divided the questions out into problem sets. I do 40 bio, 30 gen chem, and 30 ochem at a time. The first time I go through them I kinda half ass it and learn the calculations. The second time is when I really try. I hope we all do well! AHHH
