Dat destroyer: gen chem

Hey everyone, I have already completed the organic chemistry and biology portions of the dat destroyer and found them to be pretty fair and helpful. I just started the gen chem section and now I feel like going tohome depot and buying some rope lol. I feel like the book is asking some exremely difficult questions and I'm not sure if it's a little to intense compared towhat you can expect to see on the actual exam. It is literally blowing me away while I'm getting roughly 18-19 on kaplan and topscore... Is it absolutely necessary to use the gen chem section of destroyer, or would I be able to stick to kaplan, topscore and achiever? Thanks a lot and I would appreciate the feedback.

you gotta do every problem...its just going to strengthen your Gchem. Destroyer is little tough but you gotta set your goals high. If you are scoring 18-19 then you need to score 21 next time on a practice test. So do destroyer in that manner.

Good luck....not with the rope but with destroyer...lol

go through all of the problems a few times and it will get much easier..and when it becomes easy, you should be all set for gen chem.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Do all gen chem problems in the destroyer then your top-score score will improve. Do not bring yourself down if you can't answer them correct immediately. Look at solutions and resolve them, then you'll do awesome on the DAT. Good luck

yea, I feel the same way too. I could easily breeze through the organic and biology section, but when it come to the chem section I feel like dying inside...lol

Hey guys i just wanted to say thank you! Your guys advice motivated me to go through the chemistry section and i finished it in the last two days. It was definitely worth the stress. I learned a TON going through it. I still need to work my way through it again though, or maybe twice more. Thanks guys, this website helps me stay motivated.

Hmmm, for me the chem was the least difficult out of the three subjects in destroyer. I felt like biology had some off the wall random questions and orgo I am still too intimidated to go through it. Every time I start it I get depressed and want to review more.

Home Depot sells everything now, I found out recently that they even sell playstations and xboxes

When i started studying for the DATs, G. Chem was my worst subject and I was pretty worried about it.

Destroyer helped a lot. I went through the entire book i think 5 times. I always learned something new.

G. Chem ended up being my highest score.
