DAT Destroyer not enough for DAT Achiever?

Hey SDN Community!

I've taken DAT Achiever tests 1-5, with each score getting lower and lower (19AA down to 15AA). I've done DAT Destroyer for both general chem and organic chem a few times over and I feel as if I have a pretty good handle on Dr. Romano's topics and questions.

For organic chemistry, I've recently taken the ACS exam and was able to score within the 94th percentile. Even with that, Achiever organic chemistry seems way too crazy!

The general consensus seems to be that Achiever is quite a bit more difficult in comparison to what is actually seen on the test. I was wondering if anybody else had the same notion when comparing Achiever vs. Destroyer.

I've searched SDN and haven't found any scores for Achiever tests 4-7 (compared to actual DAT). Anybody care to chime in and let me know how you are doing so that we can share the pain?

A lot of people score 3-5+ over achiever. IMO focus on chad's videos and quizzes over destroyer.

I scored 5+ over Achiever for my PAT and AA. Achiever was a total confidence killer, so I didn't do tests 2-7. Perhaps that's why there are no posts for tests 4-7. I guess people get so fed up with Achiever's difficulty that they just stop haha.

Do you mind if I ask you how much time you had between Achiever test 1 and actual DAT? I have a little over 2 weeks left. Ahh!

The DAT Destroyer, Achiever, The DAT Destroyer, and ACE the DAT, all contain questions that tend to be more difficult then the real exam. Dont loose confidence!

Why in the world would you care if destroyer preps you for Achiever? The score that matters is the DAT and you should stay focused on that. When you see something on Achiever that you never saw before, be happy you learned something new and get it right on the REAL test.
