I have a few questions for the ochem section. I am looking at the 2014 version. On page 11, does anyone have a good explanation for number 19' it deals with glucose to fructose isomerization, enediol rearrangement. My next question is on page 12, number 24. I have a hard time with basicity. I know the trend says that the basicity will increase to the left and up the row of the halogens, but in this question, how does the lone pair affect the basicity.
