Hie very one,

I have a problem with understanding the question 96 from QR section of DD (Dat Destroyer). Couls some one please explain to me how is it done?

It is a square in a circle.
Question is : " this square has a side of 2 inches. Calculate the circumference of the circumscribed circle?"

Thank you.

By the way, what is a circumscribed circle?

If you are given the side of a cicumscribed (meaning enclosed by a circle) square, you can deduce the diameter of the circle--that would simply be the diagonal of the square. Then, it would just be a matter of multiplying this value by pi, and you get the answer.

I think OP will also need to know Pythagorean Theorem getting the diagonal of the square determined.
