DAT Destroyer usage

Hey all I'm over halfway through Cliffs and Barrons AP Bio (read each chapter twice per book then read the corresponding section in Feralis before moving on), watched and took notes on and completed all quizzes from Chads gen chem videos (and then recopied my notes into a nice, complete book. And doing that for his QR and OC sections too), I'm almost done with his QR vids and I'm a few into his OC vids. I'm about to start going through the Destroyer and wanted to get a general consensus.

When you went through the Destroyer did you check the answer after each problem, do 20 or so then check answers or wait until completely done with a section (GC, BIO, OC, QR) to check answers? Thanks guys and gals! 😀

I normally did the OC/GC in sets of 30's until I was about 2/3 through, and then I started doing them in larger sets (about 70-80) since I knew the material better.

For the Bio I did them in sets of 40's again until I was 2/3 through then did them in larger chunks.

For QR I used math destroyer so I just did the tests... I haven't used the destroyer questions in the back for QR yet

I think it's best to do it in smaller sections first and then check your answers because you'll see similar concepts repeating later and in a way you can test your knowledge as you acquire it early on.

Yeah, that's about how I was thinking about tackling it; just do 20-30 problems/section/day and then check answers and write down notes, etc.

With Destroyer, I would do about 20-25 problems, check my answers and then write down formulas/explanations to review. I did this for Math Destroyer, Bio, GC and OC. I'll find out on Wednesday if it worked since I'm taking my DAT then.

For the most time do about 2 dozen problems and check your answers. As you go through them, make sure you write down the topics that you need to go over and use the text book to study them. Pay attention to the wrong answer choices as well. They will help you later.
