Hello
I got done with my DAT yesterday. I had an average of 18 on both the TS and AA. Didn't expect to do this bad, I had a month to study which personally is not enough for me. I tried to do everything in the little time I had, because I had to give it by March 15th. I am in the 7 yr Dental program with UMDNJ. The requirement was a 19 or better so I thought my chances are slim but was very happy to know that the score is fine, as long as I do well this semester. Now I have to be done with my undergraduate degree by Spring 08 with a gpa of 3.5 or better.
The DAT was not that Hard but I think I just needed more time. The reading comprehension was harder than the TopScore I had been practicing on. Bio was unpredictable. I had no questions from ecology, and one phylum question whereas i've heard there are quiet a few of those on the real DAT.
If anyone wants questions to practice, I have this really good campbell bio study guide for Biology that has a atleast 70-80 questions from each chapter of the campbell textbook. It is worth doing, if you have time because it asks any question imaginable.
