All I can say man is that I am really disappointed with myself. I thought I did a lot better I put a solid three months in and about 50% was devoted to Biology I used Destroyer/Kaplan BB/ AP Cliff. QR was all about timing and I had no time.
I want to apply in June while Im doing volunteer work, dental shadowing, and what not. What I wanted to know was is that I want to retake for the 3rd and final time hopefully In August or early September. I know my DAT scores are horrid but I want to apply this cycle. Do I have to notify all the schools I apply to that I am taking the DAT for the 3rd time and to hold there evaluation on me? Anyone know how it works as far as I dont want Dental Schools to trash my application once they see my 2 DAT scores I want them to see my final DAT score that I assume that they wont be able to see till sometime in September or early October when ADA send my 3rd DAT score attempt. Does anyone know this process or have any advice on how to approach my application
I am definitely not your traditional student I am 29 years old and have a BA in Economics from University of Massachusetts with an overall GPA of 3.1-3.2 and a Science GPA of 3.3-3.4
I know these stats arent great but Ive come a long way and I dont want to quit now, too much time and effort.
So my main question is anyone have any information or advice on going about my application regarding my 3rd DAT attempt and also how to study Bio. I really pounded it and it seems so hard and so depressing. The only thing Im somewhat happy about is that I improved and didnt do worse.
Anyways I hope that people can give me some good advice I really enjoy this website and I really think that the people on SDN are very good at sharing knowledge and helping one another.
