i finished my DAT this morning. I found the kaplan and topscore practice tests to be fairly accurate in the scores they predict.

My scores...

PA 20 (81%)
QR 16 (65%)
RC 20 (79%)
Bio 21 (96%)
GC 19 (80%)
OrC 22 (94%)
TS 21 (96%)
AA 20 (93%)

I'm really disappointed in the QR. I avged a 18-19 on the practice tests, i don't know what happened. it seemed more rushed this time around. Do you guys think the scores are competitive with a 16 in QR? I've been told the PAT and Science scores are weighed much heavier... I hope so...

I think your scores are decent. What's your GPA like, and where did you complete your undergrad work?
Which schools are you applying to?
Overall, I think you have a good chance of getting interviews.
Good luck!

My gpa was a 3.4 from Manhattan College with a B.S. in biochemistry. My first choice is stony brook because of cost and proximity. (I work for a dentist office in the town of stony brook). NYU and UMDNJ are also on the radar as well as temple and buffalo.

yeah and I was wondering that also... whats with my percentiles. I thought a AA94% would have been like a 22 or 23. I was thrown a bit off. the percentiles I wrote are the ones off the prometric unofficial score report i got today. Verbatim.

Yeah, my AA was a 20 too but my percentile was only 84%. Lame. I know it varies by test quite a bit, but 92 makes me sound much more smart.

bio 21 is 96%? wow it must've been a hard bio section. congrats on your scores, those percentiles are ridonculous.

Not sure about the other schools you mentioned (I'm from the West Coast and I'm not very familiar with the East Coast schools), but you'll definitely have a shot at NYU.
