Hi guys I just came out of the testing center and am not too happy about my DAT scores considering my 3.2 UCD GPA. Anyways here are my scores

PA 20
QR 16
RC 20
BIO 20
GC 22
OC 18

TS 20
AA 19

I used Destroyer, Achieveer, Topscore, and kaplan online + blue book. I'll write a more thorough review soon. Btw, I was not FRAPPED. What do you guys think are my chances w/ schools like UNLV and Arizona?

Any feedback would be great.

Congrats, scores are pretty good. GPA could be higher but i think you have a pretty decent chance on getting some interviews.

Good luck with the admissions!

Clean scores, only 1 bad section, least important one, QR 🙂
good job

Solid scores. Don't worry too much about the 16, you buffered it out pretty well. With a good application/letter and a positive interview, you should be fine. Congrats.

Your scores are good enough for Arizona, but they really really focus on community service / shadowing hours.... I have no idea about UNLV tho..

I really liked Kaplan's online midterm. The blue book was definitely lacking in some areas. I personally thought the online material was very specific. Hope that helps!

That does thanks, by liking the online Midterm you mean it was very close to what you got? or you liked it because you scored some high scores?

Great job. I think you have a very good chance with both schools. How did your Achiever scores compare?

Achiever 1: 17 21 17 21 18 17 19

Achiever 2: 15 17 17 19 20 18 18

Achiever 3 17 16 18 28 20 17 20

No, here's the order for the practice tests. Sorry, forgot to put it up.

Did you do Kaplan's full-lengths?
Could you post your scores for Kaplan midterm, final, and anything else you have?
thanks

I would, but my online is expired. The kaplan midterms and finals weren't a great representation b/c I took them too early when I hadn't really "studied". I took my Topscore and Achiever tests 2 weeks prior to my actual test date. Kaplan's midterms weren't bad in that they are good practice. However, the bio questions tend to be a little repetitive. I think its best to do anything you can get your hands on. Can't get enough practice.

I'm actually considering retaking my exam, b/c I feel as though I can do much better in the QR with some work. I really did not spend much time studing for QR. Im just going to continue reviewing my sciences and do a bunch of math problems.

Lemme know if you have any other questions.

nice scores. if you have a week left until your dat which would you think is better prep topscore or achiever?

andrew, i personally thought that the gchem and ochem of the kaplan online is similar to the type of questions you will be encountering on the actual test. i actually did not do to well on the kaplan online midterms because i really hadn't kicked my studying into high gear. the highest score i received was probably somewhere around an AA of 19. though i remember doing very well on the bio sections of the kaplan midterms. i think that topscore was the best representation of the exam to its entirety.
