Hello everyone! Just wanted to thank everyone here for the help over the last couple months in preparing for the exam. To start off i have a 3.86 Cum GPA with a 3.94 Sci GPA. I have 300+ hours of shadowing.

PAT:22
QR: 17
RC: 21
BIO: 17 (YIKES!!!! WTF!?!?!)
GC: 19
OC: 21
TS: 19
AA: 19

BIO: I felt that this section was more random than any test i've done before. This was actually turning to my best sections in my last tests prior to taking the actual DAT. I got a 22 and 21 on the last two practice exams. I have like 4 questions regarding lab procedures and a couple of other random questions in the mix which just blew me away. I expected at least a 19 and was shocked when i saw the 17. Anyways its better than a 16 cuz then i would be totally effed.

GChem: I felt this section was also a little more random than i was used to on practice exams. I was getting like 20/21 on topscore so i really didnt do all that much worse, but still did worse. I started with a diagnostic score of 13, so i can still say i've made a tremendous improvement.

OC: This section felt very straightforward with only two questions that threw me off. I thought i actually scored much higher, but probably missed a couple of simple questions.

QR: I alwasys scored a 19 on all practice exams verbatim. I was again happy that i didnt break 17.

RC: Always got 19 verbatim. My best score i've gotten yet and i'll take it.

Overall i am content with my scores just upset with my Bio. The way i look at it i made most cutoffs and am applying with a 19/19/22 and 3.9 Sci.

I applied to Arizona, Midwestern, NYU, NSU, OHSU, Tufts, UCLA, UCSF, UOP, Western, USC, UNC, Penn, LSU. Should i be worried or do you guys think i'll be okay? Please give me the most honest feedback. Thanks for the help.

I think you should be fine. UCLA might be a bit tough (still not impossible), but I think you have a decent chance of getting interviews from other schools you're interested in.

you should be fine; you have an incredible gpa

was your gchem more conceptual or calculative? & did you use the destroyer to study?

I felt that the gchem was a pretty even mixture of both conceptual and calculative. It actually asked me a very simple question and i forgot a very basic formula for formal charge. Overall it was fair. I can say that if you absolutely master every concept in destroyer, you will kill this section.
