Congratulations. I was waiting for you to put up your scores. 👍👍 Way to go!! What school is your number one choice?
VCU is my #1 as I'm a VA resident.
More about the test.
I was lucky enough to get a pencil and paper instead of the dry erase board so I was very happy about that. I got there around noon and my test was scheduled for 1230 but they let me start right away.
Bio - I was freaking out during the test because there were about 5 or 6 questions that I initially had no idea about. Then I saw the FRAP question and freaked out a little more because of what was apparently waiting when I got to RC. Fortunately I had some time at the end to go back and look over the answer choices, and I narrowed them down to 2 and I guess I got lucky picking the right one.
GChem - very straightforward, only one or two tricky ones
OChem - I found this to be the most fair section of the test. I'm really not sure what I got wrong here.
PAT - not bad, everything was pretty fair, the hole-punching was kind of a mix between crack and kaplan, I would say I had about 8-10 normal ones and the rest were a bit tricky.
RC - As you know, I had the FRAP passage, but I really didn't think it was that bad. I finished the other two passages with about 25 minutes to go using my own method which is mainly search and destroy, with a little reading. I finished the RC section with about 3 minutes left.
QR - this section was actually pretty difficult, I think the key is to keep moving and not get stuck on questions that will take too long. If you can tell that its going to be difficult, pick an answer, mark it, and move on.
My materials:
I did the Kaplan Course and used Topscore and Crack PAT. I also had DAT audiolearn but I didnt find that very helpful. I'll post my practice test scores later. I'm having a big party tonight and I'm so happy to be able to tell all my friends that I won't have to take it again. Thanks to everyone on this board for helping me out, it really means a lot.
