You have average scores, and you're GPA is OK!Hey guys, I just finished DAT right now and here are my scores. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could give me some feedback on if these scores are good enough to get into dental school... First of all my overall gpa is 3.35 and science gpa of 3.42. I'm a California resident and I'm applying to the following schools: UoP, UNLV, Western, UCSF, UCLA, USC, Boston, Harvard, Columbia, NYU.
I will break down the DAT later when I get a chance because I'm so nervous and I would like to take a little bit of break....
Here are my scores....
PAT 19 (73.7)
QR 17 (65.7)
RC 18 (44.0)
Bio 20 (86.9)
GC 21 (87.4)
OC 17 (51.1)
TS 19 (76.6)
AA 19 (77.2)
I'm just glad that I didnt get any section below 17... I gotta say it was tough with such a limited time..... but anyways, I will break it down for you guys later.
Please give me some feedback on whether I have a chance of getting into the schools that I have applied to and if I should re-take the DAT or not...
I would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks in advance!
Good luck to those of you studying for DAT!!! I hope that you guys and I can be future colleagues!!!😍

Harvard>>I don't know dude. Last year their average DAT was 24.4.
hmmm...Probably not at this point!I'm dropping Harvard. Like many of you have said it will be waste of money. But thanks for everyone's honest opinion.
It seems like this cycle is a lot more competitive than previous years so I'm a bit nervous.
I would like to get into my dream school which is UCSF but let's hope that luck is on my side (crossing fingers. lol 😀). But I'll take any school I can get accepted to.
Do you guys think I should retake the DAT?

Above links should give you good idea on where to apply or not.
honestly, few schools you have picked might just be waste of your money.

I've talked to Dr. Ancajas at UNLV and she said they prefer >19 on QR,RC,OC, and GC for out of state applicants. BUT you do have a lot of ECs and your GPA is okay so you may still have a shot at UNLV. The others schools I don't know much about so I can't help you there. I'm a NV resident and I volunteer at the clinics at UNLV SDM and I must say they have a very nice program. Sorry I can't help you with the others.
