First off I really do want to say thank you to other SDNers who have given me encouragement the last few days, I have been REAAAALLY nervous, last night I woke up at 4:30 and started watching chad's videos (AN ABSOLUTE MUST) before falling back asleep an hour later. My scores aren't anything "typical SDN stellar" but I am plenty happy with them and feel like it's a fair enough score....I'LL TAKE IT AND RUN!!

Score Percentile
PAT 22 93.8
QR 19 92.9
RC 18 52.2(didn't get pianoed fortunately!! just suck RC)
BIO 19 83.5
GC 21 91.6
OC 22 94.0
TS 21 96.2
AA 20 93.4

My practice tests I took under normal testing conditions and didn't allow myself to press the "solution" button in topscore to gauge where I really was. I got 19 AA on all 3 topscore tests and Kaplan my high was a 20 but I was normally getting 19's with one 18 and one 17. Chad's videos really were the difference maker for me. I was slightly disappointed with Math, I never scored below a 20 on practice tests, but I'm not going to complain...it's over. Anyways, if you want more detailed explanation of my tools/scores let me know. Honestly this test is doable, don't get discouraged, I thought I got seriously 17 on bio at best. But apparently the scoring is semi friendly or I guessed well 🙂 I have studied my freakin butt off this summer, this was definitely not a gimme score. Work hard and you will get the results, at least in my experience. I don't say that to offend anyone who has taken it and not got the score they wanted, more so to encourage and show those taking it in the near future to be confident. Again thanks to those of you who commented on my threads and gave my support and confidence!

It feels so good to be done doesn't it? And we thought this day would never come. lol. Congrats on your awesome scores! 🙂

Oh it's sooo nice to be done! Thanks! One thing I was going to mention to anyone "fence-sitting" or possibly in my position, I haven't taken O-chem 2 yet, I took O-chem 1 at BYU the first half of the summer and will take ochem 2 in the fall. Point is, you can get by on the dat w/out it if you're willing to put in the time and learn the reactions from ochem 2. Chad's vids pretty much teach you everything you need to know!

HEY dwallin-
forget "typical SDN", you did excellent so don't sell yourself short. I love to see people proud to post about scores like these 🙂 This is more the norm and you ought to be proud! I dream big for scores like some of these people getting 28's and isht but would be perfectly happy to see scores like that after my test in a few weeks and you should be too. Congratulations to you!!

Congratulation on defeating the beast! I have similar scores but have different percentiles,

AA 20 is the 87.6th %, TS 21 (91.6%), got 24 in gc, 21 in oc, and 20 in bio, how due my sciences average out to be a 21 whats with this.

I took it the same day as you did. This blows my mind.

TS is not an average of the 3 scores but of the total you got correct. Because each standard score, i.e. a 20 will signify a range of total correct answers have a lower TS would mean that the number you got correct to attain the 20/24/21 were on the lower spectrum.

20+24+21=65/3=21.67 which would round to 22, but the total correct in each section would have made your overall total right out of 100 less, pulling it to a 21.

Other times the test you took may have had future test questions and do not count toward or against you, but rather for ADA to test new questions for future tests. This will count towards the descrepancy of why get 3 wrong may be a 25 for one test and a 23 for another.

The percentiles deal with the number of people you attained the same or better. So if you have a higher percentile for the same score, 21, it means that you scored higher than most people who had your test. This usually is indicative of a harder test since not as many people scored as high as you. The opposite is true for a lower percentile.

Hope that helps.

By the way, you both get high fives for those scores. Congrats!
