Just got home from the testing center. First I have to thank everyone on here for their great tips, study schedules, advice, and help. I am so relieved to have this done, it basically ruined my summer. I tested at the prometric on commonwealth ave in boston, it is basically in the BU campus. The center was good as far as staff, lockers, and restrooms but the computers sucked as did the non erasable markers they give you. They had glitchy comps, the first computer i tried white screened and they had to restart it, and all of the monitors were 17" dull LCDs that blew for the PAT. I had called the test center the day before and was told they had 21 inch monitors and eraseable(dry) markers. This really only made a difference for the PAT section as you will see. But overall I am pleased with my scores although I am disappointed a little because I was expecting the PAT to be my best section. Background: I was a dbl science major in ug, just graduated in may and was going to take a year off but decided to go to grad school instead. This is my first time taking the test and man it was pretty stressful.

those are some really amazing scores. how do you only think you got the physics passage? hah was it not as bad as others make it out to be? thats too bad about the prometric center, there is really wide variation between them it seems

well it was definitely a harder passage than the first two and it was a physics topic, however it involved several simple conversions and no calculations. I forgot to mention I got a bloody nose half way through the exam and had to stuff tissues up there. The prometric staff was nice enough to bring me tissue tho

Dang, that's scary. I've had that happen before; I'm staring at a question and my nose starts dripping. I think its snot but then my paper turns red. You should go to a doctor, just in case.

Bose-Einstein condensation and particles and a whole bunch of other crap that I dont even care to recall at this point. Someday I will write a breakdown...
