i'm still totally unsure how i feel about the score....i was aiming for a balanced score so i can't complain but i honestly thought i scored higher/lower in some sections and they ended up being like opposite hahahaah. SO happy to be done though i can't change that!!! GOD BLESS! Please I would appreciate some advice/input...I'm applying next cycle but want to see your opinions 🙂

BREAKDOWN:
First and foremost I want to thank everyone on SDN! You all have been amazing!! Reading all the breakdowns was one of the most importnat things during my preparation so I truly appreciate that!
I started studying in late June...but it was only about 2-3 times a week for 6-8 hours a day. I mostly studied in August for a soild 8-10 hours a day. The last week I studied 12-14 hours, and it definetsly really helped!!!
PAT: SOOOOO EASY! hole punching, angles, and cube counting were a JOKE! I'd say the only thing that wasn't was pattern folding. it was unbelievably confusing...i mean the patterns were just so intricate and crazy nothing like i had seen before. For this I used CDP-10 Test version. I'd say it was kinda harder than the real thing so it did a good job preparing me for it. I pretty much started getting an 18 on the first 3 tests...then from there on I got 21 on like the next 9-10 sections. I didn't just take the 10 tests though...I redid about five of them so I could keep going over it and have it fresh in my mind.
Bio: I don't think it was random at all. I think pretty much if you studied you have a good chance of scoring well. I honestly think I got one of the easiest tests on this planet...so I'm disappointed that I only got a 19. Still I can't complain too much...just focus on covering a lot of breadth and not so much depth. I think Destroyer really helped for this!!! I'd recommend going through it and Anki'ing everything in there. That is the best approach to this...there were several questions that came striahgt from there...and if I hadn't had them on Anki I never would haev remembered. I think the "cram" feature on Anki is the best!
GC: Very straightforward. honestly right now I can't rmr too much what it was like I just remember that overall in all the sciences there were too many lab technique questions. I was shocked! They were there in Bio, GC, and OC! WTH. This section is definetely very doable. I used Destroyer for this and did Kaplans' Subject Tests 3 times.
OC: I'm very suprised that I only got a 19 on this section. When I was doing it I thought I only missed one...but I guess there were things that I didn't understand. This was also doable though and definetely the section that I think is the easiest to get a high score in. I reviewed Destroyer very heavily for this and I pretty much had it memorized front to back. I also did Kaplan's Subject Tests 3 times.
RC: THANK GOD I GOT SUCH EASY PASSAGES! Very easy reads...there were a lot of inference/tone questions but they were pretty basic and easy to go through. Overall this section was a breeze. I always just read through the passage and then tackle the questions bascially with S&D. I think reading through the passage really helps understand the jist of it. I've always been a fast reader so it was easy for me..although I did almost run out of time.
QR: I don't know why people complain about this section. It was very easy...the calculator really simplified it...and overall if I had maybe 3-4 more minutes I would have gotten a 21-22. Don't be scared of this section...I did all of Kaplan's Subject Tests and went through the Destroyer portion for QR....not the Math destroyer. So definetely not bad.
I'd say all of Kaplan's Subject Tests adn the Destroyer were the biggest assets for me. I only took Kaplan practice tests, and this score is bascially my highest score out of all practices. The real test is definetly not as hard as practice tests and its very doable. I don't think its anything to be scared of. I'm not sure if I'm going to retake it...but probably not. I'm very happy that my scores are solid, that's all I could have asked for. my GPA is really on the low side...but i still have another year to work on it so I'm looking positive.
Once again I'd appreciate some advice 🙂
Hope this breakdown helps you guys...ask me if you have any other questions! YAY for my one week of summer break haha.
