I signed up just to thank you guys for being somewhat of a support group. This site really calmed my nerves and answered some questions I had on my mind. Anyway, the scores:

PA - 21
QR - 21
RC - 19
Bio - 19
GC - 20
OC - 18
TS - 19
AA - 19

I studied lightly for most of the summer and really went at it about two weeks before the test. I used Kaplan and Topscore. I would say that Top Score is by far more accurate as to what you'll see on the real test, but it's a little bit harder than the actual thing.

I definitely recommend TS though. It won't really give you any idea about your actual score (mine were all over the place) but it will show you pretty much exactly what you should expect to see on the DAT.

Kaplan is just sort of a lump of information with a test at the end. I didn't really like it but I can't deny that it helped. The PAT and RC are the only sections that get practice. The PAT section was particularly terrible because it offered no explanations for the answers.

My scores on the practice were:

QR/RC/Bi/GC/OC/TS/PA/AA

Kaplan - 21/18/17/16/17/18/18/-
TopScore 1 - 19/21/17/18/13/16/18/18
TopScore 2 - 18/22/17/16/16/17/19/18
TopScore 3 - 22/20/17/19/15/17/18/19

I don't really have much to say in terms of the questions since it was pretty close to the TS tests. Nothing really stood out. I will say that the calculator they give you on the QR section must have been designed to waste your time. Use it sparingly.

I have a 4.0 and will be graduating in December as a Chem Major/Bio Minor. I applied in late August to the Texas schools, and I'm hoping for Baylor. Any advice or thoughts on this would be appreciated. I'm sort of worried that I might get shafted because of my age. I'll be turning 20 in October, and I've heard that they give preference to older applicants.

I'm happy to answer any questions you guys have. And again, I just wanted to thank you guys, I doubt I would have done as well if I didn't stumble through here.

Congrats! I wish I had your GPA though! Haha!

I just finished my DAT's today.

PAT: 21
QR: 21
RC: 30
BIO: 29
GC: 18
OC: 18
TS: 20
AA: 23

But I only have a 3.2 GPA 🙁

leaves, with that GPA, you will not have any trouble getting in.

Transcend76, good job, but I have to admit, that is one of the strangest spreads I have seen
