I took my DAT August 13 and need some advice on whether or not I should retake.

PAT 18
QR 16
RC 22
BIO 19
GC 17
OC 20
TS 19
AA 19

oGPA 3.6
sGPA 3.5

I have a good number of shadowing hours, tons of volunteer hours, and lots of leadership in clubs.

I studied for about 3 months using only Kaplan, Cliffs, and DAT Bootcamp (awesome source). I would really just like to be done with it, however if necessary I will retake it. My first choice school has a 19 AA/19 PAT for the profile of accepted students. Are these scores good enough? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

NO retake.

...Not sure why you're so adamant OP shouldn't retake. If OP wants a better score for himself/herself, then he/she should retake it provided he/she has the determination to study harder and perform better.

OP, not saying your AA is not acceptable for dental schools, but raising a little bit would definitely make you a more competitive candidate. Of course, the option of retaking the DAT is 100% entirely up to you.

Thanks for your input, I am not applying until next June so I have time to retake if I want to. I definitely have the motivation to do it if necessary, however it would be nice to just be done. I am planning on talking to my advisor to see what I need to do.
