hello everyone,

i took the DAT a few weeks ago, AA 21, PAT 20, TS 22 ( will post the breakdown soon.
i was wondering since im applying next cycle what should I do regarding my scores that have already been sent to the schools?
should i call each school seperately and ask them to save my score?? (I basically have no clue on how this might work! )
i appreciate anyones help on this
thank you

AADSAS will have your score on file and AADSAS will send out your score in your applications next cycle. You don't have to send your aadsas scores to the schools separately anymore 🙂

Schools will not keep your scores if you do not have a file set up with them. Everything is done through the adea application portal/service, and they will have/send your scores. (this is just my impression of things) Give a few of the schools a call for yourself i'd say and play it safe. congrats on those eye dazzling scores, and good luck with your application.

Below is some additional advice if youre interested/do not already know:
with scores like that, really try your best to have your application complete within one week of next cycle opening (usually around june1st i belive) this means have your LOR's all in hand, and be prepared to list ECs, a short personal statement, list every course you have ever taken with dates and grades, and ready to have your transcripts sent. The first batch isnt sent out for some weeks after applications open, but if you have everything complete within those one or two weeks it will be an amazing boost for you.
good luck

thank you so much for your advice!
yeah the main reason why i didnt apply this cycle was that i wanted to apply really early next cycle, i was hoping for a 23 on DAT to be safe, but im happy with what i got too!

so one question i have now from what you wrote for me, i will graduate this june, how would i have the transcript ready to be sent early? do i have to ask my school for the transcripts early on like in March, so it wont take that long for them to send them you mean?

no you dont have to have them "ready", i just mean to be familiar with how to go about having it sent. you can not have them sent out before you open an account and have a matching form.

for my personal situation, i took college courses while in highschool through about 4 different CC's. I had to fax/mail a transcript request form, along with the AADSAS TRANSCRIPT MATCHING FORM which will link all the transcripts with your adea account. you can't send anything in before you create an account (for the cycle which youre applying).
The school from which i graduated in may, i simply had to go online and request the transcript be sent, and added a "NOTE: DO NOT SEND WITHOUT MATCHING TRANSCRIPT ADEA FORM".

-so for whichever schools you have ever earned college credit form, call them up / check their websites on how to request official copies of transcripts being sent to a third party (ADEA/aadsas). when the application cycle opens, you will type in every course date and grade, and then also print out the AADSAS TRANSCRIPT MATCHING FORM. this form you can mail/fax to your schools once the cycle opens, and they will send it to aadsas/adea and it will be added to your online application.

sorry for the repetition, but i thought it might help for clarity.

this was very helpful!!! as you can see i have no idea on how the application process works! i will check all these before the next cycle begins !thank you very much! !
