Well everyone, my scores suck! I'm going to retake unless I get an interview out of the 2,000 schools I applied to..LOL

Science:
Bio-Let me tell you that my biology was almost word for word out of achiever. I had the cheetah question, genetic drift, frog amnion question, anways..if you go through achiever make sure you understand what you get wrong... It wasn't to bad...
Gen Chem-I had 90% conceptual and 10% workout problems. I don't know what happen there..
Ochem-Really easy..except I missed a couple because I need the restroom so I ran out of the testing center in the middle of my test...😱

PAT-I thought I did worst but guess not. My angles were not bad but top/front/end sucked. I think it was alot like topscore IMO..except top/front/end (achiever).

QR-Ummm...I had like 90% word problems..LOL..seriously. It was impossible for me to get through those f _ _ _ing problems..LOL

RC-Okay, I thought it was a little hard. Honestly, I got so nervous because my passages were up to 18 paragraphs..I was like WTF..and started shaking and telling myself I'm going to get a freaking 10 in this section if I don't get my act together..so I pulled through and luckly got a 16...I know it's not the best but it'll do..
And to let you know, my method didn't work...I actually had to read the passage.

Anyways, I'll be lucky if I get into a school with these scores. I have an extensive background hoping it'll help one way or another. If I don't get interviews, I'll be retaking in December. Anyways, I tried my best and thats that...life goes on and I'll try harder next time. Good luck to all of you...

Ah...Tissy i was rootin for ya. Im sorry things didnt work out so well. Your TS and PAT though are good. What was your TS and AA? You may still have a solid shot gettin into places bec of your TS and PAT. Good luck!

aghh. Tissy. Those are excellent scores except you know what 🙁 BUT I think you just got very unlucky with those word problems. And you did excellent in everything else, so if you do have to re-take I think you will do extremely well on this test. Meanwhile relax a little and call up some schools. But dont worry about a thig because you are definately starting dental school next year!

I can relate to seeing a 14 for QR. Look at the bright side: at least you didn't get a 15 in PAT along with it like me! 😳 😳 Anyways, best of luck to both of us

Dude shakira you did awesom on sciences! And you rocked the PAT!! I'd kill for those science scores (a goat perhaps). i think that if you really want to you could retake it in dec but call schools and ask first. I know people with low gpa's and decent dat's taht got into good schools bc they had lots of volunteer work, shadowing, things like that, along with a great interview. Did you only take achiever only? Or did you use topscore?

Isn't december too late to enter the school next fall? if it is then how about studying more and taking it later? unless u think 3 months of studying can improve your grade. am i the only person who thinks 2 years are not enough 🙁 anyway you killed science, pat... Good Job! tutor me in science

yes ur the only one. 3 Months is more than enough to raise QR. A lot of schools I called up because I got a 15 on PAT said if I do re-talke they would take the higher scores from each section.

I also received a 14 on the QR. So far only three of the eleven schools seem to be concerned with it given that my other scores were good.

alright...I got the joke, but apparantly no one else did...so let me explain. The poster right about Envision was Joon, who is studying 2 years in advance for the DATs, Joon posted that 3 months may not be enough time to restudy for tissy, which, frankly, is a little rude...how bout some encouraging words.

Envision was just making fun.

God I know too much about this forum.

Anyways Tissy, I figure your scores overall are like 19 TS/ 17 AA/ 19 PA which is not bad overall. I'm absolutely sure a school will accept you. I can tell from your posts that you have an awesome personality and when you get an interview, you will blow them away.

I was wishing for you since you had to come all the way to my town to take the DATs...sorry about QR

dude i kno 2 ppl who studied only a week.... and only like 5-6 hours a day and got 23's and 25's on the DAT u DON'T NEED 2 freakin years..go out to a party or something.stop stressin so early PLEASE

Hey Tissy, I don't think your scores are that bad at all.... Good job... It looks like we all got the same test yesterday.. Cause I had the same RC with the 17 paragraphs... I thought I was dead... It was crazy.. And we all got hit hard on the QR... But I am sure you will get in somewhere with those scores.. If it helps any, I got an interview invite last time I applied and my scores were half yours... lol..
