Hi guys, just took DAT today, finally FREEEEE!!! Here's my breakdown. I would really appreciate your input on whether they are good enough to get me into a decent dental school. My top choice would be UCLA. Thanks a LOT!!

PA 21
QR 21
RC 20
Bio 20
GC 24
OC 21
TS 22
AA 21
GPA 3.5 UCLA Biochemistry major

Solid scores, all 20+. You should be able to get an interview wherever you apply. Congratulations.

Nice Job..man that's a very nice score. So how did you study for the test?

Destoryer + CDP + textbooks + Kaplan. I like destroyer better coz the questions makes my study more active, but then again it all depends on individuals. CDP is good.

excellent scores, similar to mine...the next year and a half will be very busy and exciting!

GREAT SCORES!! CONGRATS!! do you recommend anything for the reading and qr?? best of luck with applications 🙂

Reading is hard to say, i actually didn't practice too much on that. As far as QR goes, i just used destroyer, the test is more about speed than difficulty.

Congrats! Nice Job! Good luck the rest of the way, by the way what did you use to study? Any advice?

theres no short cut man. I just used the same things everyone knows. CDP is good for PAT.

Could you give us a breakdown? what books did you use? what did you think of the test?

great job fellow bruin. i think you have a good chance at some good schools. if you want to go to schools in calif, you def have a very good chance at UOP, USC, and loma linda. but UCLA being one of the toughest schools to get in besides the ivy leagues, your
stats may be a tad bit lower than the competitive range. im not saying you dont have a good chance because there are other factors such as ur ethnicity, EC, leadership and difficulty of ur classes that will affect your admission. You also have a good chance at UCSF too in my opinion. Good luck.
