I finally took DAT today and I'm very happy that I'm done with it!
But at the same time...I'm little concerned with my scores..

PAT 19
QR 18
RC 19
BIO 22
GC 21
OC 21
-----------
TS 21
AA 20

So as you can see, my PAT, QR, and RC scores are not that great..
but I'm happy with my sciences and RC (my goal for RC was 18..)

So I'm concerned about my PAT and QR scores
I ran out of time on both sections and had to guess like last 6 questions

I want to know whether PAT 19 and QR 18 are ok scores
are these really bad? or just somewhat ok..?
I feel really bad for AA to go down because of QR:cry:
And PAT, I thought I would get at least 20:cry::cry:

Anyways, what's done is done

Please give advice on my scores
I have Academic gpa of 3.67 and science gpa about 3.5 (not sure)

oh and if anyone wants the breakdown of my test, I will happily do it 🙂

Your scores are fine! QR isn't heavily weighted by any schools. I definitely wouldn't retake!

Also a brief breakdown would be nice!

Again congrats!

Thanks! big relief 🙂

ok I will do a short breakdown

1. PAT- I used CDP, TS, and Achiever.
Key hole & TFEL:harder than CDP and TS but easier than achiever
Angle ranking: it was really hard...as hard as CDP
Hole punching: about the same level as achiever
cube counting: wasn't bad. Didn't have any crazy gigantic number of cubes
Pattern folding: similar to achiever

2. QR- Used math destroyer, TS and Achiever
QR was just really difficult. It was harder than destroyer but little easier than achiever. I think it's just better to pick whatever choice and move on to the next question if you get stuck. I ran out of time and had to guess last 6 questions.

3. RC- used CDR, TS and achiever
The passages were about the same level of CDR, but unlike CDR, I didn't have any tone questions. Definitely a lot easier than achiever. TS reading is easier than real thing.

4. BIO- cliff, destroyer, kaplan subject tests (5 set)
I spent about 2 weeks to thoroughly study the cliff. Then I did destroyer, and wrote down questions I got wrong in the notebook. I also wrote down all the new facts I found on the answer key, Then I reviewed the whole notebook and redid all problems. I used the same method with kaplan bio subject tests..wrote down every question I got wrong and also additional info I found on the answer key and reviewed them.

5. GC- destroyer
Yes. This was all I used 🙂 I think if you understand the destroyer well then you should be fine.

6. OC- destroyer, odyssey
I'm not good at ochem. That's why I chose to use odyssey for extra help. Odyssey is really hard and way more than what you're gonna get on actual test. I was crying everyday when I was doing odyssey..haha. Anyway, but I learned a lot from it. If you think you need extra practice on orgo, you should do odyssey. But I think destroyer is enough for the test if you have good orgo background.

Hope this breakdown is useful to someone!

Your scores are good and with your stats you should have no problem getting interviews 🙂 how long have you studied for?

What schools did you apply to? Are you concerned about any specific schools looking at your scores?

Dude your DAT + oGPA + sGPA are fine... no need to worry about them! Focus on your application, extracurricular, personal statement and you will get in

and the most important thing... be wise when you choose your schools list

GOOD LUCK!

I wouldn't be concerned about your scores at all. They are actually very good scores! One 18 won't hurt you especially in the QR section. Hopefully you've been celebrating being done!
