DAT Done! Need some comments

Ok, it's finally done or maybe not!
Here is my score

Biology: 18
OC: 20
GC: 22
PAT: 23
RC: 17
QR: 21

AA: 20
TS: 20

I have done some research work (~500 hours) and shadowing as well.
Science GPA: 3.7
Non Science GPA: 4.0

I need some advice from you guys since I am worried about my RC and biology scores. I would like to know if they are not high enough for me to retake the DAT.
I would appreciate any inputs. Thank you very much.

What did you use to prepare btw? And was the test comparable to your prep materials? Just nervous, b/c I'm taking end of July.

You have a pair of nice 20s on TS and AA, a good looking 23 on PAt. Good QR, and an average Bio. I think you will definitely get into a dental school, although not guaranteed to get in the ones you want. Good like anyways, and have fun.

You'll be fine since the AA is 20. I wouldn't stress, as long as you applied to a couple of resonable schools you'll get in somewhere.

I used Achiever, Topscore, Kaplan for studying materials. OC was similar to Topscore, and GC, I personally thought a bit easier than Topscore. Kaplan materials prepared me well for Bio. My score turned out to be 2-3 higher than Topscore practice scores except for RC, PAT, QR which I got similar scores as practice exams.

Thanks for posting all of your study materials! Ive been a little nervous b/c im taking the test in three weeks and have been using Topscore, Kaplan, Destroyer, and Crack Dat. My Topscore scores have been pretty decent but I was worried it was too easy compared to the real DAT. at least for you they seemed comparable.

Few questions: I find the QR on Topscore really easy, did you find one more difficult than the other (DAT vs Topscore)?? was the QR more of a time crunch on the real DAT?? Also, how long have you been studying and how far along your studies did you take the Topscore tests??

Bio : This is the section I believe you will be never fully prepared for. It is just too broad. I cannot say anything about the diffculty level for this section. It was like either I know the answer or not. Questions where pretty straight foward.

OC: Kaplan + Topscore should definately prepare you for this.
GC: I personally thought Kaplan was just enough.

PAT: Easier than Achiever. So if you prepare it for Achiever, you will be ready. I used to get 18-20 for PAT Achiever.

RC: I personally thought passages weren't that bad. Unlike many people who say that it is much harder than the Achiever and Topscore, I thought it was very similar. But! my score says something different. I used to get

QR: Definately felt somewhat harder than Topscore and Achiever.

QR was shomewhat harder than the practice exams including Achiever and Topscore. I did not study for QR other than a day before the exam. Since I have a strong Math background, a day before exam, I looked at some useful equaitons to remember, and some unit conversions. Do not worry too much about it.

I have been staying in libraries for 3 weeks 6-10 hours per day and took a break on saturday and sunday. I went over Kaplan BB twice did Achiever and Topscore tests (total of 6 sets) starting from a week before exams.

Don't worry too much about it.
You will do definately fine. Good Luck🙂
