Okay so the test was no surprise, THE DAMN PROMETRIC CENTER WAS. The fire alarms would randomly go off in the building and/or the one next to it and I lost my brain after the biology section. Trust me when I say, IT GOT PRETTY RIDICULOUS. I definitely didn't do as well as I was expecting to do so I am not sure where to go from here. I started studying in mid May and had 7-8 hours of studying 14 days in a row. After that I studied two to three hours a days because of the commitment I made for a research program.

I got an overall average of 20 and PAT 20.
My biology was 23-- super happy about it.
Gen chem 19, ocher 18 (??!!! this is when all the disturbances started I lost all my focus.. I never had below an A in both years of chemistries. This wasn't supposed to happen. I don't even know what to do).
Math and english were easy but people kept on walking in and out because of the whole showdown and I lost track of time and couldn't mark five questions on english section and 3 on math. Got an 18 in english and 19 in math.

Anyways I was aiming for a 22 so I don't know what these scores mean. Do I have a chance of getting in? I definitely don't want to retake it unless I don't have any chances of getting in a program.

Advice for people who are planning to take the exam soon: make sure you read the reviews for the centers before you sign up for one. IT REALLY MAKES AN IMPACT ON HOW YOU DO. Nothing on any of the sections was surprising. If you have studied, you will do good! Message me or leave comments if you have any questions.

A 20 is about the national average for acceptance and you have no scores below an 18. You did great! As long as your GPA is on point, you should not have any problems landing interviews. Make sure to apply broadly. 🙂

Yeah I have a 3.8 science and overall GPA. I have a very good profile too otherwise. I am just worried because of my chemistry scores.

Ah thanks! I have been wanting to hear that from people who really know whats up. This is worst I have ever felt.

Stop worrying about it! You did it just fine! The average score for accepted students is a 20. I would kill to have those scores when I take my DAT.

Thanks. You will do fine. I am just freaking out because of the unexpected results. My chemistry practice tests were never below 20. Gonna feel blah till I get accepted somewhere.
