Man did I screw up on bio:

bio 15
gc 17
oc 17
PA 23
RC 21
QR 18
TS 16
AA 18

Guess I'll just study more & retake in 90 days...

I found the bio section crazy - many terms I'd never heard of, and I've done about 4 or 5 biology courses... (intro x 2, micro, biochem x 2). I only studied my textbook (Campbell/Reece) and Kaplan BB for bio though.

But just to confirm - NO school considers any 15's, right?

The good news is that the sciences are easily fixable...
the 16 TS might be in the cutoff region for some schools.

Since it seems you have all the non-science sections down pretty well, I would just concentrate more heavily on the sciences for the next 3 months. You will need to retake it b/c you didn't get a single science section above 18 however. I would try destroyer, topscore, achiever, etc. to help you improve on the sciences.

Interestingly enough, you did well in the two sections most other applicants are struggling with (PAT, RC). Your AA and TS are both below average. I strongly recommend a retake. Spend three months and try to improve your Bio and Chem. I'm sure you can easily bring your score up to 20. Then, if you can maintain that high PAT score, you'll definitely have a chance.
Good Luck!

My bio section I had never heard of a bunch of terms either (I have not yet had genetics, biochem, immunology, molecular, developmental, or pathogenic)..perhaps we took the same test lol!

Unless you purchased a good biology text book and learned that material for yourself I don't know how you would do well on those parts of the test.

Ya man, the bio is random, I had genetics stuff I had never heard of, cDNA and wierd diagrams I had never seen. Best bet is to just keep studying.

(not to hijack this thread, but would a seed from an angiosperm be considered a fertilized egg or an unfertilized eggn? Because I think it could go both ways)

A seed contains an embryo, and you can't have an embryo unless fertilization occurs. So, I believe a seed is a fertilized egg!

Yeah, the bio was wayyy weird this time around! I wrote it a few days ago for the second time. The first time I wrote it, the bio was straightforward--you either knew it or you didn't. This time I had a diagram of RBC's and it asked where would these cells most likely be found. I never knew they would put diagrams on the bio section. It was weird. Anyways, for bio, Kaplan is alright, but you definitely need other sources such as Campbell and perhaps even Cliffs AP Bio.

Cheers

now you got me worried..:scared:..Im using Campbell/Reece textbook as my bio study source..I covered about half of the book...should I get another source now??
