Went in pretty confident but the biology section totally caught me off guard. It has random stuff that I've never seen before. Also got passages with lot's of inference question. Totally different from the practices I've done and totally messed up search and destroy method. I was never good in English so I couldn't really complain.

Really bummed out about bio. I was expecting at least a 20 on my TS.
Have a GPA of 3.1 over all and 3.2 science.
Had above 3.5 for the last year of college since frat and lots extracurricular destroyed my grade during sophmore and junior.
Held Vicepresident, Public Relations, Community Service in my frat and clubs. Costarted a club. Went on dental mission to costa rica. Did research in the nutrition department. Interned at the emergency room. Have tons of random community services for clubs/frat. Of course the usual Dentist shadowing. One with a general and one with an Endodontist.
I just wish to stay in southern California and go Western or USC. I don't know if my stats are possible. Any Suggestions?

RC first then bio...

a lot of schools emphasize rc to be me at min 18... its your call.

3.1 GPA and 19/19 DAT with two 17s in 2 important sections.

I don't think those numbers are bad, but they aren't competitive either.

I am assuming your applying next cycle, you have alot of time a head of you, why don't you take 2 months off of DAT. And start studying for it again next year, and have your retake before June

Good luck to ya

Hi 🙂
I haven't taken my dat yet but from i hear and from what i know 2 scores of 17 will stand out in ur application. If you are called for an interview you will be asked about the 2 scores. Same thing happened to my friend ( 18 in bio and 15 in RC) and he didn't get in 🙁 My advice call the schools ur applying to and ask if you need a retake. You have nothing to lose
best of luck
