Congrats on a job well done, you'll have an even better chance if you donate 2-3 points to me, lol, just kidding, congrats again. Please do tell us about your experience, & the test itself. How was it for you?

pat section was very similar to topscore. both kaplan and topscore were
good practice. but i actually did better on practice tests.

bio was hard. i studied with kaplan and topscore but it wasn't enough.

gchem and ochem were very easy. I thought i didn't miss anything
but i guess i had some careless errors.

rc was a killer. i guess about half of them. i'm a very slow reader and
i couldn't even concentrate on reading cuz ppl kept walking around
and i was disturbed.

qr was extremely EASY. i finished with 10 mins to spare. i thought i got
everything right for this section too but ONLY got 23.

Overall i would say similar to topscore except bio. I spent most of my
time studying for bio and I got lowest score on bio. Some bio questions
on real dat are ridiculously easy or hard. I wasn't sure of about....
9 problems.

Have you taken any courses at a 4 year university? I think you have a good shot if you have great ECs. Good luck!

yea i have business degree from UCSB. my ECs are just normal
not that exceptional. 100 hours of shadowing... blah blah blah..

i think it won't really matter where you took the pre reqs as long as your undergrad gpa and your prereq gpa's are both good. great job on the DAT! good scores. I think you are pretty competetive for those schools, so good luck :luck:

i remember a few yrs ago (may be 2 or 3) AA 21 was like boom....
now people like you are getting 21 and a business degree are scared to death!!! what a hell is going on with this damn competition??

Hey Keibee, were there lots of calculations in G Chem or was it mainly conceptual stuff like electronegativity? Thanks, 🙂. Oh, and congrats on your scores and finally getting it over with!! Good luck to you!

guys don't worry about gchem and ochem. really...there are some calculations
but its really simple like dilution and NaOH and HCl titration stuff.
Only unusual problem i saw in the real one was calculating the mass
with a given density and cube dimension. For ochem, i didn't even
take ochem II class yet. so that tells you how basic it is. Really easy.
Whole throughout the test, i thought bio and reading comp was the
hardest. Of course for those of you guys born here won't have
any problems with reading...
SPEND ALOT OF TIME STUDYING BIO.

i got few but it was easy. know the basic trigs like sec, csc and value
of simple sine and cosine. also i saw coin problem that looked similar
to the one in topscore where you have such and such amount of dime,
nickel, and quarter that makes up such dollars and figuering out amount
of quarter or something.

Congrats! i wish i was as math savy as you...anyway, I think you have a decent shot at the schools you listed. gl.
