Hello,

Thanks to everyone on this forum for answering my questions.... I just got done today. The following are my scores. This is the first time I took DAT, I have a 3.6 GPA. Do you think I should retake it before applying? I will apreciate any advices. Thanks in advance 🙂

What is your science GPA and RC score? With a 3.6 and a 19, you have a good shot at getting interviews/acceptance. Your PAT is a little on the low side, so try to apply to schools where PAT isn't weighed as high. You seem to be in good shape as long as the rest of your app (PS, LOR EC) are good. Send in your application and if you think you can bump your score a point or two, retake. You are in pretty good shape though. 😉

hey, good job, i just took them and did about the same (17 on pat too). i think you'll be fine as long as the rest of your app is well-rounded. does anyone knows what schools don't weigh the pat as heavily

but I am wondering whether I should retake it or not?

If I am taking it again, on one hand I am thinking about not mentioning in AADSAS since schools may not review my application until they receive my second DAT result (That means being bottom of the list for review). Also, I might do worse the second time around and I don't want the schools to see those results.

On the other hand, If I take it and do better I want the schools to know. But would they accept my DAT result if an official result is sent to them via ADEA or personally not through AADSAS?

I am very torn and don't know whether I should retake it or not? 😕
