RC is important, but it's not everything. Your DAT scores in general are about average. Your GPA is a bit low too. Considering it was your 3rd time taking the exam, you don't have another chance of improving your scores any further. So it is what it is, and you shouldn't worry about it.

hey guys, just took the dat today... its was great except for rc, during my break i was careless not to keep track of time, and when i went in for the second half i lost almost 7mins🙁, I almost fainted when i saw the test already started and couldn't concentrate! (amazing how time passes...). Anyways, this is my third time:

PAT 19
QR 17
GC 19
OC 21
BIO 21
RC 16
TS 21 (92.4%) 🙂
AA 19 (god damn rc!)

My GPA is 3.3 SGPA is 3.2
(there are major factors involved that i think makes me a disadvange applicant, not excusing anything...)

You actually have great scores except RC! That really did screw you. If I were you, I would bring that up during the interviews (if you get any), not as an excuse, but as the reason for your lower score. I'm sure your AA woulda been a point, or two higher if it wasn't for RC!

I have to disagree...I wouldn't admit to my interviewers that I missed points because I took too long of a break. They will be like...?? Unless you had a good excuse and you couldn't return on time (diarrhea).

Otherwise, a good job man. I'm guessing the AA was an improvement over the last two times so way to go. All the best in the application process.

yes i did use destroyer. the thing about destroyer is that the questions on it for bio, in my opinion, was useless. its just to test your knowledge on different topics. on the real dat, when they ask you a question, its mostly related to a specific topic which will reflect on the answers given. You should look elsewhere for 'practice questions'. Now the thing that destroyer is best for in the bio is the explanations at the back. i think of destroyer as another 'learning material' like a bio text book. you will come across some questions on the dat from destroyer, especially the 'random questions'.
