I got a very difficult one today! everything was totaly new to me! I was laughing during biology section cuz it was really redicilous!!!after the break, I really didnt even want to comeback to my computer!... ok enough! I'm really happy that it's over! I've got AA18 and PAT22 (the lowest I have ever got in all my practice tests)!
Do I have a chance?!

You have a chance at a few school, but that also depends on TS. If you did well on TS, along with a strong GPA, that opens more doors. Idk if a retake is necessary, its really up to you

Honestly, I think you should take it again. 18 TS is a really borderline/average score even with a 22 PAT. Clearly you can do well on the PAT, so I would focus more on the other areas for the next one. You really want to be shooting for 20+.

First off what is your gpa like? If it is above average you don't necessarily need a retake because the gpa will off set an average score.

18/18/22 is "okay" if you have a strong GPA.
Anything above 3.6 (in my opinion) is strong

Thanks for clarifying the "strong" gpa thing...I have been wondering what strong is nowadays since it seems like the whole cohort of applicants appears to be packing 3.7s and higher with 24+ DATs.

haha, nah, thats just some of the crazy folks you see around SDN, and usually, those high stats are only represending like 1-2% of the pre-den population

yeh, I don't respond to threads with amazing stats and still asking "so where do you think I should apply" or "what are my chances".....

If your smart enough to land high stats, you should/could be smart enough to figure out how competitive you are...... These pre-dental/dat/dental forums are designed in nature to have students with knowledge and experience give advice to those, who are STRUGGLING (keyword = struggling)

agreed, i think people are just looking for compliments 😛
