Hi,

I just took my DAT on 9/28 this week and I am currently a junior. I'm wondering if that means I have to apply between the summer before my senior year cuz dat expire in 2 years? I was thinking about taking a gap year now I don't know if that's an option anymore.

You'd have to call and ask the schools you're interested in applying to what their DAT requirements are. For UCLA for example, you'd be fine applying in June 2023 as they require your DAT be taken within 3 years, which yours is, so you could apply after you graduate and take 1 gap year. You'd have to reach out to any other schools directly.

Some dental schools don't accept DAT scores older than 2 years, while others don't accept DAT scores older than 3 years
