.It's finally over!! but, I have lots of exams coming up next week.🙁
Here is my scores.

PAT 18 😡
QR 29
RC 18 😡
BIO 26
GC 25
OC 25
TS 25
AA 25

I don't know what went wrong with my pat and rc. terrible.
I am really worried about being rejected because of those two parts.

PAT: don't know what happened.😛
QR: very easy. easier than achiver and kaplan subject tests. 😀
About half of the questions were word problems.
RC: painful😛
GC: Easier than any other practice test. Super easier than Kaplan tests.🙄
I had many concept question. Especially about gas, know about real and ideal gas. Examkracker helped me a lot.

Bio: I wasted too much time on studying this since I had examkrackers, Campbell,Cliff AP and kaplan. Here is the tip. Do not use examkrackers for bio.👎
It is totally waste of time. If you have a plenty of time,it might help you to get 29 or something, but the dat didn't touch such a great details. Use kaplan first to know broad concept. Then, use cliff.(this book was excellent and most helpful). Then, for the campbell textbook, just read figures. I know some people read it entirely, but fortunately I did not have that much patience.😉

OC: I just went through my ochem text book, McMurry.I made reaction lists on about 15 pages of paper and it helped a lot. Some people say that kaplan is good enough, but I do not agree with it. To make 22 or more on this, more work should be done. I also used Examkrackers for this.
Don't forget to review Sn1 Sn2 E1 E2 just few days before the test. They can be tricky.

Although I did so poor on RC and PAT, I got TS 99.7% and AA 99.9. It's so strange.😕
I am still worried about RC and PAT. They might cut me out because of this? please give me your opinion.
I will give you more details later.

well done!!! great scores! I LOVE Exam krackers! I know all my conceptual gen chm and org from them 😀

one more question, would you mind posting your topscore and achiever scores? thanks

Well, I did not use topscore. Hehe
But I did use Achiever
1 2 3

Bio 18 22 17
GC 17 21 20
OC 23 21 22
PAT 21 19 22
RC 22 19 20
QR 19 24 22

Oh, again for the bio, focus on Cliff AP and campbell figures only.
Also, kaplan subject tests was helpful. However, you really need to know and understand the answer and explanation of each question. not just answers.
Kaplan subject test explanation was very helpful.
For the QR, there were about 4 questions about unit conversion.(inch-centi, mile-kilo, pound-grams...)

Congrats Sanay, nicely done, you're straight

way to go! excellent scores! 👍 🙂

with the RC - were the passages that much harder? or were you not fully prepared from the practice exams in achiever? im just trying to figure out the best way to go about preparing for RC. thanks!

hmm. The passages was kind of hard. Usually, I made around 20 on Rc in Achiever. My problem is that I can't stop thinking about a sentence which I do not understand. Simply, I did not skim the passage. I knew had to skim but I didn't. Horrible nature. I ended up with guessing 6 questions.

I made this question my self😉
0. 2sinxcosx equals to..?

1. There is a house. At the tip of a house, I tied a rope and drag to a certain distance from the ground of the house . The length of the rope is 10 feet and the distance from the location of the rope to the pole is 6 feet what's the height of the house?

2. There are ten people in a classroom. 6 of them are girls and 4 of them are boys. What's the probability of selecting 2 boys without re-entering first selected boy?

3.You have saving account of $3000 in 2009. In what year your saving account total would be closest to $4750 if the interest rate per year is 20% (compound)

4. From location A, there are 12 ways to travel to location B.
From location B, there are 12ways to travel to location C.
How many ways are there to go from A to C?

5.what's the value of csc0?

6.8^3=2^(x+3). x?

7.1+tanxtanx equals to.

8. There are 9 baseball players and 5 football players.
When you select 3 baseball players and 2 football players. How many ways are there?
a.210 b.420 c.840 d. 280 e.1680.

no answer will be provided.😛

If you like these stuffs, I would make more questions for BIO ochem..😉 .

I have the McMurry Organic Chemistry book also. What reactions did you pay close attention to ? Thanks in advance.

I really liked your questions 😉 😀 Please more 😛 😀

0. 2cosxsinx= sin(2x)

1. 2((34)^1/2))

2. 3/25 chance

3. If compuonded once per year..then 2.5 years is 4,732, so closer to 3 year mark or 2012. If compounded quarterly then 2.35 years or closest to 2 years and 2011. If compounded monthly, then 2.32 years or 2011 also.

4. 144

5. csc(x)=1/sin(x), sin(0)=0 so csc(0)=1/0= undefined for that function

7. tanx=sinx/cosx so tanxtanx = sinx^2/cosx^2 and tanxtanx +1=z
so sinx^2/cosx^2= z-1 and sin^2x= cosx^2(z)- cosx^2
now sinx^2 + cosx^2=1 so cosx^2(z) - cosx^2 +cosx^2=1
now cosx^2(Z)=1 and Z= 1/cosx^2 so tanxtanx +1= 1/cosx^2

Ill get to the rest after class🙂

claisen rearrangement is important. and reduction of alkene and alkyne. oxidation to carboxylic acid or aldehyde. For alkyne, configuration is important when you reduce it to alkene.(cis-trans- and its reagent).
sp sp2 sp3 hybridation is important also with theire corresponding angles
know about aldol condensation and michael reaction ...
Also, know about how carbon dioxide is produced from beta hydroxy ketone?..😕
imine enamine. hofmann rearrangement and elimination?
wittig reacton can be tricky in the exam.
alpha substitution reaction.
and radical reaction with Br2 and Uv that attach br to ally position.
and so on..

Basically, write down every reactoin you see in the book.
know about amino acid..especially glycine and know about acidic and basic amino acid. and know about what it would be like a certain pH comparing their PI.

It took me about 4hours to write down all the reactions. I read my paper just before the test, it helped me a lot.
