3.2 overall, 3.2 science from UC Berkeley. Have over 1.5 years of experience at the Berkeley Free Clinic Dental Section and 50+ hours shadowing.

What do you think are my chances?

Short breakdown. Time was very hard to manage for me. Bio was SUPER random. Gchem and Ochem were much easier and I thought I would have the hardest time with both of these. No calculation whatsoever on gchem. Very basic. RC was nothing like Topscore. I got 21,22,26 on Topscore. Ran out of time on PAT and QR.

Resources I used:
Topscore
KBB
CRACK DAT PAT
Kaplan Tests (subject tests, midterm, and final)
Barron's DAT (completely waste)

I think u have a really good shot, your gpa is slightly lower than average, but your DAT scores make it up. 19AA is like the average for last years acceptance so your good to go. Apply to like 10 schools, all the ones in california (take out usc or llu if your not a fan) and apply to some other ones like NYU, BU, Midwestern, Temple, and Tufts. Good luck!

3.2 GPA from UCB is considered more highly than a 3.2 from a community college-ish universities. UCB is known for grade deflation so I think it would be okay.

Your PAT score is on the low side, but I think you should be able to get some interviews this year.

Good luck!

Thanks sfoksn. Yeah I didn't do too hot in ochem at UCB but I think my score kinda makes up for that. PAT is definitely low, but I dunno how a 21 is a 96%ile.

More comments would be appreciated!
