Ok, so here is my situation:

I am a U.S. citizen, and when I was 17 I went to India to study dentistry. Now, I have gotten my BDS. I have heard from a few friends that if I go back to the U.S., they would only give me ONE try for the DAT. IS THIS TRUE?? Please reply only if you KNOW FOR SURE!! THIS AFFECTS MY LIFE BIG TIME!!

I believe this is false. I read over the ADA site and the DAT guide and found nothing to support this.

I suggest you contact the ADA directly and find out from them if you are still concerned about it:
