could you please look at this post? Is it really we need all 20+ on every section?😕

Are you kidding? No. Look at accepted stats for schools. According to predents.com, which I BELIEVE uses the ADA guide's stats from 2008, there are 13 schools with average DAT above 20 and only 4 with average PAT above 20. You did awesome on the DAT, unless you had a 15 or lower on some section, there is no need to retake.

With an AA that high, you are fine. But caution to other applicants: practice for your interviews! I had 22/22/20 w/3.9+ gpa and got waitlisted by my own state school.

GPA and DAT are only good to get applicants to the interviews. It's up to the applicants' interview skill that'll get them in. But isn't there like a pt system where the schools will rank each interviewees with the combined GPA, DAT, and interview pts? I heard some school does that.

My cousin interviewed at UCSF and they told him that they do this.

Well that explains why I didn't get in then. Even though I knew I aced the interview, but my academic stats were too low for this year's incoming class. Honestly, you can't have a bad interview when your faculty interviewer told you "You're a nice young man and you're excellent in communicating. You have to come chit chat with me if you get in and choose to come here."

Oh ya, I think Midwestern does the pt system too, if I remember correctly.

How did the student interview go? We were told that the faculty and student interview held the same weight. Also did you talk about your research in each interview?

In any case, you got into UoP, awesome school as well. 👍

That one also went really well. Accidentally saw my score sheet and he gave me mostly 5s. I didn't do research though so there wasn't much to talk about. Ya not complaining, UOP has always been my dream school and I got in. What's there not to like👍.
