what did the math portion mainly consist of? and also what is a cheap tool for pat section?

The QC portion on my test was mainly conversions and probability. Also needed a solid grasp of basic trig and rate problems.

The only resource I used for PAT was Bootcamp. I got a 22... though you should be the judge of whether that is a good enough score for you or not.

The QR section is sort of a wild card. You should be ready for everything. I think the BootCamp QR and Math Destroyer are great tools to practice but it also depends how good you are. I was not that great at QR but got a version that wasn't bad so I scored a 19. The best tool for PAT is DAT BootCamp. The generators are awesome, and the tests are a little harder but it helps prep you a lot for the real thing. My highest score on BC PAT was a 20 and I got a 24 on the real thing; I couldn't believe how easy it was compared to BootCamp.
