dat genius vs the actual dat

hey folks, I have taken the DAT back in June and scored a tad low in bio/ochem (was still in those classes...so prepping was tough). At that time I did well on bootcamp test 20's across the board but bio/ochem like 18's

I now am using Genius, its harder but I am scoring in the 20's every where.

Some say genius is harder than bc some say easier. Both are harder than the real usually. Genius is more calc heavu

Oh yea. Looks like he had a decent jump in bio and chem. Ochem looks accurate. And yes fingers crossed haha

I haven't taken the official but my DAT Genius PAT's are like 3-4 pts higher than BC.

Sorry for a second reply.... I get killed in BC Keyholes and Angles which I think lowers that score a lot. I think DG's TFE is harder.

Bio: 1st test 22, 2nd test 22, 3rd test 23

I didn't take the rest of the tests since I didn't find it helping me as much. It was more of a diagnostic and tool to show weaknesses. I used Genius instead to help me on PAT and shifted sciences towards the DAT destroyer which helped speed the learning process than either Bootcamp or DAT genius did.

Actual DAT scores on OChem 24 and Bio 22.

That's good to hear. Would you say Chad+destroyer goes deep enough for gc conceptual?

I also had trouble finishing GC for DG and a bit of trouble with BC.

No I think they were more simple than I made them out to be I just overlooked them probably or rushed it.

Would you say Chad+destroyer goes deep enough for gc conceptual?

For sure! Both were great, those were the top 2 resources I would recommend for sciences.

Hey I'm wondering how did you score on RC on the real DAT

Haven't taken the dat yet, but genius has great prep for TFE. I used it before buying bootcamp and I was flying through bootcamp tfe

Yeah I have been using DAT genius along with BC and I like it too. I didn't use their PAT and QR. I used all of their RC and some of their sciences and they are great. I recommend using DAT genius along with BC if you need additional practice.
