Do yall think that taking the DAT in august will be to late?

I just finished reading all the science sections, and I wanted to give my self about 3 weeks to practice questions...

being today is the 17th, i would have 3 weeks by the august 6th?

you think doing questions in those 3 weeks would be sufficient enough or taking the test a week later or so like august 16?

it depends. For me repetition is the key. TO take it in three weeks u have to be very organized and make sure u do destroyer to reinforce material u have learned. Lemme know if u have any other questions. It is going to be my second tie taking DAT this summer. Ill be happy to be a resource.

im taking it in august too, i think alot of people are. i dont think youre alone. i called NYU dental (bc thats my absolute dream school!) and i asked them what they thought of me taking it in august and they said its fine its not a big deal, that they usually want their applicants to just take it before the fall as they start interviewing in october. they just told me it takes max up to like 2 weeks to process the dat scores. so w/e
i figure i might as well take in august , and do better than if i were to take it in july and ef up and get a bad score. clearly at this point were only gonna have 1 shot to take it this year bc even taking it in july, a redo is out of the picture. So you may as well take it a few weeks later (aug) get a good score and thatll be that . alot of my friend last year were intiailly scheduled to take it in june (haha, story of our lives) and they pushed it back to august, and they all got into dental school.
its all about how you do, not necessarily WHEN you take it. but take it by august.

Just so you know ADA said 2-3 weeks, but plan on 3. Don't know how much a difference one week will make but yeah just so you know.
