I dont feel ready/confident 🙁

Is Canadian DAT harder than US one?
How is Barron DAt prep book compared to the actual DAT? cuz i tried one of their practice tests and didnt do as good as i hoped... 🙁
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm so scared, cuz I really dont want to have to take DAT again (mostly cuz i dont have time)!

Does anyone have any last minute tips for me? T_T

I only did the PAT for real in barrons and just looked at the rest of the problems. But I would say that barrons is pretty close to the real thing, at least for the science and math. QR is not labled nicely like in barrons. PAT is easier on the real DAT.
For last minute tips.... try to relax.
US is most likely harder because Canadian doesn't have ochem. Give me a bar of soap anyday over studying and having ochem on the test. Im prepared to hear it though.:corny:

I was scared more than you can imagine...before and during the test. Surprisingly it went well though.

Barron's DAT has a handful of typos in science so be careful with that. Other than that, just chill out. I was loosing my mind the days leading up to the test and everything turned out fine. You'll likely do better on the real thing that the practice test because you'll be really focused when you do it. Don't worry about it, just do your best.

i was scared out of my mind as it was my second time taking it which added a bit more pressure ... sleep becomes hard as thoughts of C3 cycle, CAM plants, hormones, equations, etc. are constantly running through your head. Up until the processing score bar had reached 100% and the score popped up I was freaking out. My screen actually said processing score and the status bar filled only to reveal a customer satisfaction survey ... I was pissed to say the least and had to sweat through another processing score status bar.

Even for days after my test my heart was still racing ... i guess i had gotten used to the stress and that had become my new normal.

Eat a good breakfast and wear layers in case it is too cold/too hot at the testing site...

Take your 15-minute break. Get up and stretch your legs. I waived mine and tested straight through it... I got it over with faster, but I had leg cramps for days! (I know that taking the break sounds like a no-brainer, but stress leads to questionable judgment.)

Budget your time: I ran out of time on PAT and QR.

RELAX! You don't have to get every question correct to get a good score.

Relax. I'm taking the same test as you and I literally only studied for like 4 days lol. Thanks to me your score will be boosted up.

I'm basically screwed and resigned myself into the fact that I'll have to retake.

It's tomorrow @ 8AM, i'm SOOOOOO nervous. I'm good with everything except phylas.....and in all practice exams i've done there's like 4 questions uhh ohhhh 😱

I'm in the same boat,will be heading down to UofC bright and early,i too have been doing the barron practise exams I've found a considerable amount of wrong answers, i know of 2 in the bio practise exam alone. I'd like to get some input from people that already have written the exam about reading comp. The practise exams mostly are about remembering details withing the reading, is that what I can expect tomorrow?

canadians have to wait 5 weeks+ to get their scores in snail mail. Up here we don't have the luxuries of internet and immediate score sheets that are printed out.. we only got electricity last year

good lord, screw that! I loved te agony of the computer screen 'calculating.... calculating...' like I frickin broke it with my dumb responses, hahaha. I covered my eyes and actually slowly peeked at the scores as they came up 😛

:laugh:, you know, I had to go through a 15 question survey before getting my scores..VERY cumbersome...

Oh yeah forgot about that! I was torn between being like "who the hell cares, just give me the scores" and picking randomly, or putting off the receiving of the scores and enjoying my possible last few minutes of relative calm. It all turned out okay though
