DAT in October... too late?

My Canadian DAT was in since June, back when I applied and submitted.

I want to add a US DAT score, but if I write a mid-late October DAT, will adcoms re-review my app with that update? Especially for the schools that take exclusively US DAT or prefer it.

OR, is it just plain late by that point?

Not sure about it being "too late" but it's definitely very late into the cycle.

Too late is the day after the cycle closes. If I were you, I would wait until the next cycle opens and then apply the first day. If your stats were like 4.0 with a 25 DAT, obviously it wouldn't matter when you apply.
