DAT in October?

My DAT is scheduled in a couple of weeks, but I am not thoroughly prepared. I want to go all out my first time around (so I can be done with all this studying....arghh). How much damage am I doing to my application package by taking it in October?

This will be the first time I'm taking the DAT.

if you are applying this cycle, you are really hurting your chances. i would say late august early sept latest just because it takes time to get your score to schools up to 3 weeks. so you have an early nov. application when many seats are already being filled. my 2c. up to u. good luck let us know how it goes.

You must get a 21+ AA to get back in the race.

I agree. Taking it earlier may be better.
